When people talk about athletes using their platforms for good, they are usually referring to charitable works or an athlete speaking out about a particular issue. On Friday, Astros pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. certainly used his platform of over 80,000 Twitter followers for good -- by helping reunite a lost dog and his owner.

By the time evening rolled around, the mystery was solved: Man and dog were together once again.
The holidays are all about families coming together. Through his platform as a Major Leaguer on social media, McCullers Jr. contributed to making sure at least one family was reunited this holiday season.
