Last night, during Game 4 of the NLCS presented by Camping World between the Dodgers and Cubs, we hosted our 3rd Cespedes Family BBQ Postseason Watch Party -- a Facebook Live stream where you can watch the game along with us.
There were a lot of highlights during last night's Watch Party: we celebrated Yoenis Cespedes' birthday, reveled in the wonder of Wade Davis' extraordinarily bizarre at-bat in the 8th and made some very phenomenal signs. But the most surprising moment came when Jordan correctly predicted Justin Turner's eighth-inning dinger that brought the Dodgers within one run of the Cubs.
Just to give you a little background, Jordan lost a game earlier in the evening that involved naming as many terms as possible for "home run." His punishment was to put on a fake Justin Turner beard for an entire inning. During that inning, Jake saw an opportunity to grab a rare in-game "interview" with "Justin Turner."
In that interview, Jordan/Justin proclaimed that in the top of the eighth he would hit a home run. And sure enough, that's exactly what happened. Obviously, celebratory mayhem ensued and another hard-hitting "interview" was conducted.
