NLCS veterans? Cubs celebrate third straight trip to the Championship Series

After a wild, back-and-forth NLDS Game 5 presented by T-Mobile on Thursday in Washington that included a Matt Wieters' bunt single, Kyle Schwarber putting dents in walls and Daniel Murphy playing ... Charades? We think? We hope.

The Cubs pulled out the 9-8 victory and, if you can believe it, advance to the National League Championship Series presented by Camping World for the third straight year. Once Wade Davis recorded the final out of his SEVEN-out save, it was time to party.

Cubs diehard Bob Newhart was relieved.

Wrigleyville got the early word.

Kris Bryant was pretty excited.

Oh, cute -- a coach hug!

The team quickly changed into their NLCS gear because who doesn't like trying on new clothes right away.

Then it was clubhouse champagne time.

Tune in to Cubs-Dodgers NLCS Game 1 presented by Camping World on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on TBS.
