Bernie Brewer and Jared Hughes competed in a staring contest on Twitter

With his team not scheduled to play until the evening, Saturday started off as a quiet morning for Brewers' relief pitcher Jared Hughes. He woke up, had some breakfast and, of course, sent out a Twitter poll.

Bernie Brewer was up too and offered a detailed response.

Hughes used that as a springboard for a more burning question:

The real action started when a digital passer-by proposed a staring contest so Bernie Brewer could showcase his talents.

So, with the staring contest having failed to produce a clear winner, Bernie proposed another test:

Just as Bernie was well-positioned to win the staring contest, Hughes seems suited for the dance-off. But as we've seen, these contests can produce unexpected results.
