Fashions fade, but style is eternal. I'm pretty sure someone that does not wear graphic T-shirts every day said that. And if there is one eternal style, it is the baseball uniform. There's hosiery, buttons and belts -- all the kinds of things that make no sense in the world of athletics, but that remain quintessentially baseball-y.
While the pieces of the uniform have mostly remained staid -- belts, socks, buttons, etc. -- the specific uniform styles have changed.
Can you prove that you're a regular Anna Wintour by guessing when each of these uniforms debuted? A note: While some classic uniforms have varied slightly over time, we are counting the first appearance of what is clearly a connecting thread to today's uniform as a "debut."
