It's been a tumultuous few months for Noah Syndergaard. Despite his stellar start, the Mets were eliminated in heartbreaking fashion by the Giants in the NL Wild Card Game. A month later, he wasn't named as a finalist for the NL Cy Young Award. Just judging from the track listing, it appears to have it all: The memory of friendships gone by in "Big Sexy Betrayal," the fandom anthem "Ban the Wave" and, of course, "Mr. Met Takedown" serving as the obligatory diss track. As for the mixtape's musical inspiration? No one can be sure, but we're willing to bet there's a Lion King sample in there somewhere.
