Sorry, but art (and bat flips are art) will always push forward and find new, ever more exciting avenues of self expression. Today we honor former Padres and Astros player Jesus Guzman. Playing for Leones del Caracas in the Venezuelan Winter League, Guzman came to the plate on Friday with the bases loaded and the game tied at 3 in the bottom of the 10th.
After unloading on Rob Bryson's offering with the type of swing that would result in a video game cut scene, Guzman knew he had no choice but to release his mixed media piece that he probably calls "The Boundless Joy of the Human Experience." Honestly, just watch this and wonder how many feet of air that flip received.
