Do you miss baseball? Do you miss dingers? Do you miss Miguel Sano cloud-scraping dingers?
Well, you're in luck. The Twins slugger is playing for Estrellas de Oriente in the Dominican Winter League and on Thursday night, with his team down two runs, he decided to tie things up:
Miguel Sano hit a ball into the Presidente sign tonight. The call is fantastic. pic.twitter.com/7WhEowKg35— Ben Badler (@BenBadler) December 4, 2015
While it looks as if Sano hit the El Presidente sign (of course), reports began coming in that the ball may have traveled even farther:
Hemos encontrado donde fue que se vió por última vez el palo de Miguel Sanó. pic.twitter.com/m37Peu8oQg— Antonio Puesán (@antoniopuesan) December 4, 2015
The Twins asked the 22-year-old to play this winter so he could take some turns in the outfield. They weren't very concerned about his hitting and they continue to not be concerned about his hitting.
