That's an attention-getter all on its own, but the ball itself collided with a Dodgers fan in right-center field. Think of it as a friendly little "hey buddy" punch in the arm. Clearly, the ball was just trying to introduce him to a cool bat it knew. The plan must have worked, because said fan later traded his souvenir for a piece of lumber:
Good job, home run ball. You're the greatest memorabilia matchmaker of them all.
