MAJOR LEAGUE Service: Enters his fourth season as a Major League coach and first season as the Orioles First Base Coach. Served three seasons as the First Base Coach for the Boston Red Sox from 2013-15.

Enters his first season as the Orioles First Base Coach after being named to the position for the 2019 season...Marks his 28th season as manager, coach, or scout...Managed Miami's Triple-A club in New Orleans for the past three seasons (2016-18)...Served three seasons (2013-15) as First Base Coach for the Boston Red Sox, he was also Boston's Outfield Instructor during that time...Red Sox outfielders led the American League in 2014 with 37 assists, and Beyeler served as First Base coach for the 2014 AL All-Star team...In 2006, served as Hitting Coach for San Diego's Double-A Mobile affiliate and worked as a coach for the West Oahu CaneFires in the Hawaiian Winter Baseball League after that season...Spent nine seasons as a manager in the Red Sox organization, guiding Short-Season A Lowell (2000-01), Class-A Augusta (2002), Double-A Portland (2007-10), and Triple-A Pawtucket (2011-12) to a combined 585-553 (.514) record and four playoff appearances...Led Pawtucket to the 2012 Governors' Cup, marking the PawSox's first International League Championship in 28 years...Also led Portland to a pair of Eastern League playoff berths in 2007-08, and was named the Eastern League's top managerial prospect by Baseball America in 2010...Between stints with the Red Sox organization, managed Texas' Class A-Advanced affiliate in Stockton (2003-04) and Bakersfield (2005), leading Stockton to the playoffs in 2003 and 2004...Spent three years coaching in the New York Yankees system as a hitting and infield coach for Triple-A Columbus (1997) and Double-A Norwich (1998-99)...Began his post-playing career as a Florida area scout for the Detroit Tigers from 1992-96.

A middle infielder, he played six minor league seasons in the Detroit Tigers system from 1986-91, reaching Triple-A Toledo in his final professional campaign...His best season came in 1987 when he hit .285 with 20 stolen bases in 117 games at Single-A Fayetteville while playing alongside current Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo.

Beyeler resides in Atlantic Beach, FL, and has two children: Jordan and Brady...Graduated from Wichita State University (KS), where he earned All-Conference honors in all three seasons from 1984-86 and was named to the All-Region team in 1985...Also attended Lamar Community College (CO).
